I am Gaurav Sharma, founder, writer, and editor of Wrestling Nightmare. I live in Punjab, India. I am 36. There is no staff and no guest-post team behind this site. If an article carries my name, I wrote it, checked it, and published it.
I have watched professional wrestling since 2000, first as a fan of weekly television and pay-per-views. For the last 15 years I have also followed the industry around the shows: dirtsheet reporting, roster and contract news, and the gap between what is presented on screen and what is reported from backstage. I am not a wrestler, a promoter, or an employee of any company. I am a long-time fan who writes explainers, history, and opinion.
I completed a B.Com. That is not a wrestling credential, and I am not a financial adviser. It is the reason for one rule on this site: I do not publish a salary, contract, or “highest-paid” figure unless the article links the named report it came from. A number with no source does not run.
What this site covers
Wrestling Nightmare covers WWE, AEW, and TNA, and uses wider wrestling history when a story needs that context. I write match breakdowns, career histories, booking explainers, and clearly marked opinion.
I separate four things, and I label them in the article:
- Confirmed news, from an official announcement or a named source
- A report that is not yet confirmed
- My analysis and opinion
- A prediction, which is not a fact
A rumor stays a rumor until a credible source or the promotion confirms it. When another outlet broke a story, I credit and link that outlet instead of rewriting their headline into a longer page.
What I do not publish
- Private-life pieces about a wrestler’s spouse, dating, or children
- How-to instructions for dangerous in-ring practices
- Salary lists that are not tied to a linked, named report
- Speculation written as if the result is already confirmed
Corrections
If a fact is wrong, email me and I will check it. When a correction matters, I update the article and note what changed. I would rather fix a page than defend a mistake.
