Roman still moves the needle. He still draws huge ratings and creates must-see moments. Let him keep the title and run with it a little longer. Give Oba the chance to chase. Build this thing across SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble. Make the fans desperate to see Oba finally knock Roman off his throne. That kind of long-term storytelling hits harder than rushing a title win before Oba is fully ready.

If they do go with Oba vs Roman at ‘Mania, I expect Roman to retain after a war. Oba should look like an absolute monster in defeat — kicking out of big moves, surviving Spears and Guillotines, maybe even hitting a few near-falls that make the crowd lose their minds. That way he still comes out stronger, and Roman’s reign continues without feeling stale.

Rushing the push could backfire. We’ve seen it before with guys who got hot too fast and then struggled to maintain momentum. Oba deserves a proper build so when he finally does win the big one, it feels earned and massive.
